Subir Ghosh is a Kolkata-based independent journalist-writer-researcher who writes about environment, corruption, crony capitalism, conflict, wildlife, and cinema. He is the author of one book, and has co-authored three with others.

At present, Subir is Executive Editor of texfash.com where he writes mostly about sustainable fashion and policy issues related to the textiles and apparel industry. He is also Co-Founder of the digital publication.

Over the years, he has worked with the Press Trust of India (PTI), the Telegraph, the Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), the Wildlife Trust of India (WTI) and the Daily News and Analysis (DNA), among others.
